#UNIDENTIFIED CODEC: VLC COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE AUDIO OR VIDEO CODEC TV#
I have all my channels listed, I can record TV channels, download the file and watch it, but I cannot stream them and watch live TV over the local network. However, now I'm faced with a problem I could not solve. I have successfully streamed live TV in another country with the same setup, physically the same one (RPi, dongle and computer). I have a Realtek RTL2832 (DVB-T) dongle which I have successfully managed to get working thanks to all the tutorials on the internet.
I want to stream TV to my computer using VLC. The RPi is connected to the modem/router switch with ethernet. This is what uname -a spits out: Linux raspberrypi 4.1.13+ #826 PREEMPT Fri Nov 13 20:13: armv6l GNU/Linux/Linux.
I'm using a Raspberry Pi B exclusively for a TVHeadEnd server, with the latest Jessie Lite distro (updated and upgraded).
